Godelieve Spaas is a professor Economy as a Common at Avans University of Applied Science. Together with her research group she engages with and researches radical new economic practices and theories and proposes alternative narratives and working principles that take care of all life on earth and the earth. She intertwines artistic practices and research in thinking making and imagining economies we want. She worked as a consultant for over 20 years in the domain of new economy. As a board member of Plaatsen Nederland she contributes to the transform our food economy into one that is nature inclusive, socially connected and economic embedded. She is also a researcher and maker in residence at Rabo Art Lab.Godelieve makes performances, podcasts and films as a form of embodied research.
